Nice quiet home with very cool decor. Very close to great dining places for all meals and to pick up anything you might have forgotten to pack. We had an awesome time there.

We had a great weekend staying at this house. It’s beautiful, very clean, and has a great atmosphere. We truly enjoyed our time here and it was a perfect getaway for us. Would definitely recommend and love to come back.

We had a fantastic stay at Lucky on Lupine! The amenities were great and the space was creatively decorated and spacious. We enjoyed the sauna, the hot tub, and game room! Nearby we enjoyed breakfast at both Piggy’s and Terra Cottage. We also enjoyed dinner at Nicks Lake House. We explored the nearby town of Jim Thorpe, which was super cute with lots of shops and cafes and other fun finds. It was lovely place for a couple getaway. We would definitely return to Amy’s place! Thanks for a great visit :-)

My friends and I spent the weekend here and had so much fun. The house easily fit everyone and had tons to do. The lake is beautiful and sitting out on the dock drinking coffee was so peaceful. Absolutely loved it.

From start to finish everything was wonderful. Our granddaughters loved spending time with Amy and became involved in helping feed the animals and gathering eggs. My younger granddaughter at one point said my friend Amy said we can look for eggs every day. We were very impressed by how quickly our questions were responded to. We highly recommend a visit to Rocking Horse Acres. We have already suggested a visit to our friends

My Stay at Amy's location was wonderful. The openess of the space was refreshing. The house was just as described and felt very comfortable. The Hot Tub was pre-heated and clean. The atmosphere was serene. I was very happy with Amy's level and speed in communication. I would definately reccommend this stay to other's. There was lots of wildlife around but not too much and nothing frightening. We saw deer, birds, and a black bear(it kept its distance lol). Overall we had an amazing time. The bedroom sauna was so innovation and a great touch.

The house was great! Clean, entertaining for kids. The location is pretty private, yet walking distance from the beach and from tennis courts/soccer field. We also walked the “split rock” Mountain View. Hot tub was an amazing end of a chilly day (since we stayed in April). Loved it!
We should definitely come back!

We had a really great stay. The area is very nice - the lake is absolutely gorgeous. The house was easy to find, super clean, and exactly as expected.
We had a small group (my husband and I, our 2 year old son, and our 2 dogs), so we did not use all the bedrooms, but we easily could have been comfortable with a larger party.
The house was dog friendly - we brought couch covers so they could be comfortable and they loved looking out the full lengths windows.
Also loved the basement - having that separation from the bedrooms allowewd my husband and to play ping pong for the first time in years and just relax. We caught up on our shows without having to choose between watching on mute vs. waking up our son.
Amy was very responsive as a host. Nothing I would improve, would love to come back!

There are not enough words to fully capture how incredible our experience was at RockingHorseAcres Farm this past weekend.
We rented the property to host one of the most meaningful moments in our family—my son’s proposal—and from start to finish, it was absolute perfection.
First, the property itself is stunning. The setting is peaceful, private, and beautifully maintained, with so many thoughtful details that make it feel both special and welcoming at the same time. Every corner of the space feels intentional, and it created the most magical backdrop for such an important occasion.
But what truly sets this place apart are the hosts, Amy and Steve.
They were beyond gracious, kind, and accommodating—genuinely invested in making sure everything went smoothly. From the very beginning, they were responsive, flexible, and incredibly easy to work with. As the day approached (and all the moving parts that come with a surprise event!), they went above and beyond to support us in ways that made a real difference.
You can tell this isn’t just a rental to them—they truly care about the experience they’re creating for their guests.
Because of Amy and Steve, and the beauty of this property, what could have been a stressful event turned into something seamless, meaningful, and unforgettable.
If you are looking for a place to host a special event or gathering, I cannot recommend RockingHorseAcres Farm highly enough. It is a rare find.

Great little “shack” in a quiet neighborhood. Our kids loved waking up to deer hanging right outside the front door each morning. Close to a few restaurants and a nice area to walk the dog
